Content can include everything from the words on your home page to blog posts—the more often you update your website with fresh content, the better.

Here at Bateman Design Group, we recognize the importance of content marketing to help establish us as experts in the graphic design industry, and to generate new leads and drive traffic to our website. We allocate time to periodically updating the content on our site, posting on social media, and writing new blog posts.

As you probably know, frequently generating new content can become very time consuming. To help optimize our use of time, we developed a new resources module for our website.

It’s a carefully curated collection of articles, books and galleries. The beauty part is that instead of having to write new content for each of these posts, we simply log into our CMS and paste the title and introduction that we copied from the article we’d like to feature, along with an image to add visual interest, and link to the original article or website—providing full credit to the creator of the content, of course.

It not only helps drive traffic and link backs, but also has become a valuable resource that our clients can share and bookmark to refer back to when looking for inspiration or information on new trends or technology. It also generates goodwill with the creator of the content, as they will often be happy to have their material shared with new audiences they may not otherwise reach.
